Recently Reactive Property Maintenance hired more staff . During interviews with furloughed staff from our competitors, we were surprised to discover that these staff are NOT been paid the SEO Construction Rates ( Sectoral Employment Orders ). The various excuses given to these workers was that ‘maintenance is not part of construction rates’ and ‘ your van is part of your pay’ etc. The CIF and the WRC have confirmed to us that any workers engaged in Property Maintenance fall under the Construction SEO rates of pay. Reactive Property Maintenance Pays all of our workers the SEO rates and are happy to provide written statement to our clients and customers confirming that fact.
